Here are the features included in the Free Edition:

- Page orientation is automatically detected (layout analysis): the characters are recognized even if the pages are not set at the normal reading orientation.
- Five major languages for OCR are available: English, Italian, French, German and Spanish.
- Several pages are processed at the same time in multipage documents (multi-threading support).
- Various ways of processing documents: file(s) selection, folder selection or Drag 'n Drop.
