iR2018 - ScanGear

I am evaluating PaperScan with Canon iR2018 and Color Network ScanGear V2.71 on WIN10/64-home. Everything works good except of Acquire - Start Wizard... - if I select this command, the program crashes as it tries to open ScanGear. I would like to use this option, because ScanGear enables to scan smaller area (iR2018 is A3 and usuallu I scan only A4 and the operation is then quite time expending and the image nust be cropped). In MS Office Document Scanning this option works OK.

Hi,
we have the same problem with iR2018 using Color Network ScanGear V2.71
Quick scan works, Start wizard crashes the application.

Thank you for your problem submission. Could you try with the latest version of Paperscan please? This issue seems to only affect the ScanGear drivers so it is somewhat hard for us to reproduce and therefore to provide a solution. We hope our latest version solves this.
