Paperscan is not compatible with MAC OS. It is solely compatible with Windows and its different versions. This would explain the issue you have been having.

How would this replace/insert page feature work and how would it benefit what you are trying to do? You can currently import pages to paperscan, move them around, and also delete individual pages. Are these features not enough to manage your task of replacing/inserting pages?
