I used a software called DF-SERVER that divide scaned document into many pdf when it detects a blank page (one or 2 sided).

Is very usefull because sometimes I need to scan many different documents and with that method its faster and easyer.

When scanning one side, save as another pdf after 1 blank page.

When scanning 2 sides, save as another pdf after detect 2 blank pages (one blank page 2 sided)

From PaperScan version 2 and later (only in Professional Edition), support for scanning with separator sheets is available.
You can now divide and save your files in the desired multipage format (PDF, TIFF or JBIG2).
