I have the Paperscan v.2.0.29. but I cannot find the default [location] save option as mentioned above...
Can someone enlighten me please?

Could we have hot keys for Move Page Up and Move Page Down.
It would make sorting a list far quicker???

Support for custom keyboard shortcuts management is a part of new options added in PaperScan 3 recently released.
