scan size

I am trying to scan Scout Badges on to my computer and alli want is the badge not a whole page is ther any way of just scanning the object placed on scanner ie if you crop the badge i then just want to save the croped bit to jepeg file

Hello,
yes it can easily be done:
- Click on the "Area Selection Mode" button.
- Draw the rectangle over the area to crop.
- Click "Crop Selected Area" Button.
- Save your image.
