PDF options enable encryption

I am currently using the Home Edition of PaperScan 3.0.80. On the Settings/Saving Options tab I am unable to enable PDF encryption, it is grayed out. How can I enable this feature? I have attached a screen capture.

This is very unusual.
In order for us to be able to assist you we will be needing to first successfully reproduce the issue. Having tested this on my end everything works as it should. Could you please give us more information so we can reproduce the issue?
