At the moment we support in the Pro version the automatic blank page removal only, this means that PaperScan won't separate the scanned files when a blank page is found but it will delete the blank page.
However that's something we have in mind for a future version but a date for the release is not set yet.
We now have the V2 release of Paperscan Professional and we would like to do batch scanning with separator pages in between at random intervals. A few things I noticed while testing today.
- There is no mention of what the separator page needs to be.
- Blank Page? (I know these are simply removed from the batch)
- Any sheet that is the same and used multiple times in the batch?
- When testing our previous barcode separator with PaperScan Pro V2:
1st Sep. page to the 2nd Sep page worked without a problem.
Any pages after the 2nd Sep sheet would either get deleted completely or saved into a single file.
Function does not work when saving as a .TIFF (Only saved first page of scan).
Only worked if saving as a PDF and checking the box with PDF/OCR saving.
My company is looking to use Paperscan Pro v2 so we can scan large batches of pages that will randomly have inserted separator pages in between each user's information. (Exa: Batch for 9/10/13 has 13 users info. We would need to separate each one in a single scan/save process as a .TIFF).
If you have any information I can use for more testing with the new separator page feature I would appreciate the assistance.
