How to auto-save scan as *.png into predefined dir?

Post by pstein » Fri Jul 27, 2018 4:49 am

Assume I am in ScanGear Preview and click on Button "Scan".
Now I want to scan the source and AUTOMATICALLY save the scan as *.png file with unique filename pattern (inlcuding timestamp) in a predefined directory (e.g. D:\data\) outside of Paperscan installation directory.

How can I achieve this?

You can't automatically save the scanned pages. You need to go through the interface, scan and click save once you're done. This is very fast also so we do not think you need an option to directly scan to directory.
You can save the *.png files with unique filename patterns in the saving options using our suffix and "include date in file name" features. The directory path is preloaded if you have saved another page to this directory right before.
