Does PaperScan have the ability to set a B/W threshold point? ie at what point does greyish becomes white?

B/W threshold setting
Re: B/W threshold setting
Hi pocopoco,
PaperScan does not apply linear transformation method to threshold an image, but Otsu's which is adaptive. This approach produces most of the time a better quality output.
So you can't expect to obtain a black pixel for a specific color-range. You can find more information about this method here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otsu%27s_method
Kind regards,
Loïc
