New feature request

Post by zonk » Fri Dec 08, 2017 8:11 pm

I often want to crop a scan in two or more places. Is it possible to add a function to duplicate a scan to a second page? I can crop the original image, save the cropped image then undo the crop. Then I can crop a second area.

Unfortunately, I need a rough crop then a fine crop. After the fine crop, I can only undo once. Many, many revisions ago, I was able to undo many levels. I don't know exactly which revision this was removed. Currently I resort to scanning multiple times and cropping accordingly.

Does anyone else identify with this 'problem' or is it only me?

This option to crop a selection and save it to a new page now exists and is called "copy selected area to a new page". You can find this after drawing your selection on the page and then clicking on the option "copy" found in the edit tab.
This allows you to crop a page in many places without damaging the original page as you requested.
