Paperscan currently doesn't have a method to save to word document format and scanned or imported documents can only be saved in the following formats (.pdf, .tif, .jb2, .jpg, .jp2, .png, .webp). However, that being said, you can edit your file directly in paperscan. If you're not familiar with the editing options you can use the paperscan guide (downloadable under the "General" tab in the application) to help you use them.
